Queen Elizabeth II Plans To Adopt Two More Dogs To Join Her At Buckingham Palace & Were Officially Jealous!

Queen Elizabeth II is definitely goals!

After deciding not to breed any more of her corgis in 2015, it’s recently been revealed the 90-year-old is considering adopting two more dogs after the death of her beloved corgi Holly!

Can we live in the Buckingham Palace??

According to The Telegraph, the British monarch has been thinking of taking in a corgi and Bichon Frise owned by her late gamekeeper Bill Fenwick and his late wife, Nancy, after he passed away last week.

The Queen has reportedly been taking the two pups out for walks weekly since 2015 anyway as she was considered to be quite close with the Fenwicks. In fact, she’s even said to have gifted the couple with their one corgi!!

Hopefully Her Majesty can take the dogs in, as we’re sure her corgi, Willow, and two dorgis, Vulcan and Candy, would also love the company!

And how cute would it be for a Bichon to add some diversity to her royal portraits??

VOTE: Judge Rules Dogs Shouldn’t Be Treated Like Family Members In Custody Dispute Case What Do YOU Think??

We guess this judge isn’t much of a dog lover…

Back in August, a Canadian judge issued a very controversial ruling on the case of a divorcing couple who couldn’t agree on the custody of their two dogs Kenya and Willow.

In the bizarre and incendiary decision, Justice Richard Danyliuk declared that animals aren’t akin to children and therefore can’t be handled in the legal system as such. Richard even went as far to compare the dogs to household objects like “butter knives” just to prove his controversial point!

The judge argued:

“Dogs are wonderful creatures. Many dogs are treated as members of the family with whom they live. But after all is said and done, a dog is a dog. At law it is property, a domesticated animal that is owned. At law it enjoys no familial rights.”

Obviously, this did not sit well with the wife in the case, who wanted primary custody of the animals with her ex only getting visitation rights.

Despite the exes’ plea for some formal resolution, Richard sarcastically theorized:

“Am I to make an order that one party have interim possession of [for example] the family butter knives but, due to a deep attachment to both butter and those knives, order that the other party have limited access to those knives for 1.5 hours per week to butter his or her toast?”

Well, that seems to be taking it a tad too far… He’s making it sound like pets are worthless objects!

To make his point to the feuding couple clear, Danyliuk threatened to pull a Solomon and have the animals sold by the court if they didn’t resolve their disagreement, saying:

“Both parties should bear in mind that if the court cannot reach a decision on where the dogs go, it is open to the court under the legislation to order them sold and the proceeds split something I am sure neither party wants.”

You can read the judge’s full ruling HERE.

We have to ask… do YOU think animals should be treated as family members?

Police Dogs Are Overdosing On The Same Drug That Killed Prince Find Out Why Fentanyl Is So Dangerous To K-9s!

This is so upsetting.

Back in June, the Drug Enforcement Administration

Last month, three dogs from a Florida K-9 unit became affected by the dangerous narcotic after a Broward County raid. Detective Andy Weiman told NBC News about the symptoms a dog named Primus suffered, saying:

“He wouldn’t drink water. He would release his toy very easily. And he was looking lethargic, almost sedated. We knew something was wrong.”

The police pooch — along with fellow K-9 dogs Packer and Finn — were rushed to a local animal hospital after being exposed to an unseen amount of fentanyl during the bust.

The Detective explained how the pups were able to get the drug in their system, adding:

“If fentanyl is loose in an environment, it can spread out where a dog can absorb it through his pads. He could sniff it up through his jowls. And fentanyl is so toxic, so strong that the very smallest amount of it that you couldn’t even see could affect the dog. You wouldn’t know they’ve even ingested it.”

The employees at the animal hospital noticed the dogs were overdosing, and quickly gave them Narcan shots for treatment.

Luckily, all three dogs survived. Detective Weiman recalled:

“By 4 p.m. that afternoon he was fine. And we went back to work the next day.”

We’re just so glad the dogs are okay.

In Florida at least local vets have been helping train police dogs to spot the dangerous drug. We hope the rest of the country’s police departments follow suit.
